Nexus aims to scale technologies that offer both climate-positive impacts and social benefits to marginalized communities across Southeast Asia. The diverse enterprises we work with deliver everything from solar water pumps to clean cooking devices to regenerative farming technologies that improve the lives of their customers.

We support these early to growth stage social enterprises and climate-focused NGOs through partnerships where Nexus is the carbon technical expert. In this role Nexus designs, registers, and monitors carbon credit projects under the VCM (voluntary carbon market) standards. Once the projects have issued carbon credits, Nexus facilitates the sale of these credits to carbon buyers around the world to deliver the critical funding that sustains these projects and drives their benefits to underserved communities.

Nexus seeks a self-motivated Sales Manager (Carbon Finance Department) to help grow our impact in the region. The Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for managing Nexus’ relationship with carbon buyers and will report to the Head of Carbon Finance. S/he will also work closely with the finance and operations teams on reporting and with the marketing team on innovative marketing strategies that drive potential leads and growth.

The Sales Manager’s core responsibilities are five-fold:

3. Reporting and Administration
4. Pricing Strategy

Through debt financing vehicles, Nexus aims to scale locally appropriate technologies that have both climate-positive impacts and social benefits. The diverse enterprises we work with deliver everything from solar mini-grids to clean cooking devices to regenerative farming technologies that improve the lives of their customers. We support these early to growth stage social enterprises by providing affordable, flexible and unsecured debt in the “missing middle”, typically inaccessible to SMEs in emerging markets.

Nexus seeks a dynamic and driven Investment Analyst to support the fund management activities of the Pioneer Facility and the Kiva loan fund. The Investment Analyst will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of deals that are at varying stages.

This position reports to the Head of Funds and will also work closely with the operations team on post-investment monitoring and reporting.
